PayShield — by Arovi

Help stop your company from sending money to fraudsters.

Companies send money based on invoices, supplier changes, and email instructions that may be fraudulent. PayShield screens every B2B payment request against real evidence before money moves — new suppliers, changed bank details, mismatched invoices — and blocks high-risk requests until a human reviews and approves them.

What PayShield checks, on every request Live

  • New supplier — no prior record for this supplier on your account
  • Changed beneficiary bank account — the account on this request differs from the supplier's known account
  • PO / invoice mismatch — the invoice amount doesn't match the purchase order
  • Duplicate invoice — the same invoice number was already screened for this supplier
  • Abnormal amount — a real statistical outlier against this supplier's own payment history
  • Email domain mismatch — the requester's email domain doesn't match the supplier's known domain

How it decides

Every signal is exact arithmetic or a database lookup — never an AI guess. A request that crosses the high-risk threshold is blocked and can only be released through a real, reviewed approval, the same approval gate every other consequential action in Arovi goes through. Low-risk requests can be released directly. Bank account numbers are never stored in the clear — only a one-way hash and the last 4 digits, so PayShield can compare accounts without holding raw banking data.

Direct ERP, email, and banking connectors for automatic ingestion are a later phase — today, payment requests are entered directly or through Arovi's existing document/workflow tools. This is real risk screening, not a marketing promise of a fraud-prevention guarantee.
